In 2023, world-class judges sampled 614 of the best Virginia wines from across the Commonwealth. With 66 wineries receiving 142 Gold Medals, the highest 12 ranking red and white wines make up the Governor's Cup® Case, with one bottle taking home the coveted Governor's Cup®.
In 2023, Mountain & Vine (formerly Delfosse) was pleased to accept two gold medals in the competition as well as bringing home the Governor's Cup for the 2021 Screaming Hawk Meritage!
In 2024, Mountain & Vine was in the Governor's Case with our 2022 Chardonnay Reserve and received a gold medal for our 2021 Petit Verdot.

Meet The Farm Dog
The Big & Bad Story of Buck Jr.
Buck Jr., the big fluffy Great Pyrenees, was welcomed onto the vineyard in July 2023 as a rescue. Ever since he was brought home here in Faber, VA, he has been hitting the ground running... literally. He is nocturnal, and chases all of the critters away from the vines throughout the night to protect our grapes. When visiting the winery, you can easily find him sleeping off his nights work or begging for your attention. Everyone help us welcome our fluffiest teammate!
